This work will bring together the further development of robotic procedures for binder selection, robotics screening of expression, and the mutual linkage of the complementary expertise of the sites. The complementary expertise of the partners can greatly help to exchange modules and this will allow a greatly accelerated development of the workflow for the ambitious tasks (automation of binder generation, automation of screening for crystallisable constructs and automation of screening for FRET constructs). By adapting modules from partners, rather than developing them from scratch, each site can better concentrate on the development of its specialties. The key element of this project is therefore to drive the technology forward to higher degrees of automation and thus higher throughput and also higher robustness.
